RTP PD - Thermal Designer
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve solutions to the thermal engineering problems assigned by function managers and detailed by project work packages, work with budgets and effectively communication these solutions with team
Control the detailed board-level & chassis level thermal simulation including fan and heat sink selection according to company policy.
Cooperate with category managers, suppliers and other relevant functions to solve technical issues for quality
Cooperate with mechanical designers according to design rules. Optimize system structure for a well balance.
Responsible for Acoustics Noise design and Noise test in a Chassis or Rack level
Job Requirements:
Bachelor/Master of Science (Mechanical Background)
5+ years experience taking System-level products successfully from design to production
Design background in Mechanical and Thermal knowledge
Expertise in Acoustics noise design in system-level
Experience with designing for manufacturability, testing and reliability.
Familiarity with standards for thermal & noise compliance as well as software Flothermal & Pro-E etc.
Fluent written and spoken English.
