Key issues of improving cooling of high-bightness LEDWANG Jing, WU Fu-gen

Abstract:To consider the influence of thermal conductivity and cooling mode,it is simulated and analysed high-bightness LED(HB LED) heat distribution by using the finite-volume method. The effect of the different package, heat sink materials and cooling mode on the ability of HB LED cooling capacity are analyzed. It was shown that the key to solve the LED cooling problem is not high thermal conductivity materials being found, but change cooling structure or mode being invented.
