去看一下帮助文件吧，说得比较清楚。

1. free opening:
A free opening represents an area on the surface of a solid object (e.g., block, plate), or an area on a planar object such as a wall, through which a fluid is free to flow in any direction. In most cases, an opening represents a hole on the boundary of the cabinet where the model fluid is exposed to the external environment.

2. Recirculation opening
Recirculation openings model recirculation devices such as heating or cooling units

不可以。就是单对于一个hollow block，开opening也不可以真正的穿透整个hollow block, 也就是说，只是在hollow block的surface开了个opening，不是hollow block体内，空气是不可以穿过去的。

为什么呢？
在一个对象的面上，放置OPENING不就相当一该对象被打孔了吗。

对于solid的block是的，可是对hollow的就不可以，我不知道为什么。我也是试了之后才知道的。
